Mr A. H. Hobbs (Canter- ! bury) presided in the opening stages, and Mr W. C. Weston (New Plymouth) I was later installed as President tor i 1938-39. Delegates were present from , all parts of New Zealand, and there j was a large attendance of Taranaki justices.
