“OLYMPIC GAMES WILL NOT BE ABANDONED” United Press Association —Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 10, 1.30 a.m.) TOKIO, March 10. “There is no need to worry about the 1940 Olympic Games, the Japanese people will never abandon them,” said a Foreign Office spokesman. Even if the Government withdrew its support the Olympic Committee was easily capable of financing the games.
