HURRIED VISIT
VISCOUNT NUFFIELD BACK IN AUSTRALIA United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received February 18, 9.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 18. Viscount Nuffield, who arrived by the Awatea to-day, in good spirits, told an interviewer that he only had time to drop in at Auckland and shake hands. “They seem to be cheery - and well over there,” Viscount Nuffield said. “I’ve had a great time. The Awatea is a wonderful ship. It went over to New Zealand and back almost at Atlantic speed."
Viscount Nuffield attended a cricket match this afternoon, and he will sail for London on the liner Orion on Wednesday.
