DAMAGES OF £1291 Bv Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. February 18. Damages totalling £1291/16/- were awarded in the Supreme Court, to Ned Peko, freezing works employee, for injuries received when he was knocked down by a taxi on June 25 last. The defendants were I.'rry Kennedy, driver of the taxi, and Alfred James Howard Paton, own»r of the vehicle.
