February 16 Two committees of experts reported to the Minister of Defence <Mr Thorby) that there was "nothing fundamental wrong” with the Hawker-Demon aircraft of the Royal Australian Air Force. The pilots of some of the machines involved in the accidents in November and December, are held responsible by the committees.
