* TOMATO JELLY £ Take a packet of lemon jelly, * lib tomatoes, 1 egg, 1 lettuce, salt, * pepper, salad oil, vinegar. Rub the tomatoes through a fine sieve, * *£ then dissolve the -jelly in half * pint of hot water. Stir in the X tomato juice with a little salt •:* * and pepper. Hard boil the egg, ►J and place a slice of egg in the ❖ * bottom of each of four moulds. * * Pour on the jelly, and allow to ❖ * set. Turn out on to crisp lettuce * leaves sprinkled with oil and ❖ * vinegar. • *
