PROPERTY WORTH £lOO STOLEN By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, January 10. Personal property valued at £lOO was stolen when burglars ransacked the home of Mr Alf Jenkins, 55A Hawker Street, Wellington, on Thursday night last. Mr and Mrs Jenkins and family were away on holiday at the time. The spectacle which greeted him on his return was to use his own words simply appalling and really had to be seen to be believed. The whole place had been turned Inside out, he said in an interview to-day. Mr Jenkins, who is well-known both as a physical culture expert and as a wrestling referee, is a heavy loser, as the missing goods, which consisted mainly of clothing was uninsured.
