DASH BY AEROPLANE By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, January 10. As a result of a last minute decision to catch the Mariposa before shfe left Auckland this afternoon, a resident of Blenheim, Mrs P. Renwick, chartered an aeroplane and flew north to make the connection. Mrs Renwick was advised in the morning that . her brother in Suva was seriously ill and she left Blenheim at 12.15 by air for Auckland, reaching the Mangers aerodrome shortly after 4 o’clock. A motor-car was ready to bring her to the city, and Mrs Renwick arrived at the wharf a few minutes before the Mariposa left on her voyage northwards.
