FEAST OF EPIPHANY HONOURED ANCIENT CEREMONY AT PALACE SERVICE British Official Wireless (Received January 7, 6 30 p.m.) RUGBY, January 6. Representatives of the King, at a service in the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace to celebrate the Feast of Epiphany, offered on behalf of his Majesty gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The ceremony goes back several centuries. The King’s bodyguard of Yeomen of the Guard were on duty. Their Majesties and Queen Mary t ill pay several visits to the British Industries Fair, which will open in _iondon and Birmingham on February 21. According to a Rome message on Wednesday 4 * Italy’s real Christmas began on January 5, Epiphany Eve, when the mythical fairy godmother Befana made her annual rounds, leaving children toys of a military nature.
