What is it?” ‘ Colonial muck I think you called it,” laughed the tobacconist, “New Zealand’s ‘toasted.’ There’s five brands, Navy Cut No. 3 (Bulldog), Cavendish, Cut Plug No. 10 (Bullshead), Riverhead Gold and Desert Gold, and I sell more of them than anything else.” Mr Newchum looked rather foolish. “Well,” he said, “I sure made a bloomer!
