“Hello! Hello!” calls Henry Ham, “I’m going for a bathe, I am. Why don’t you come along with me?— I like to bathe in company.”
Mike goes. His wrath he has to swallow When Henry Ham begins to wallow In oozy mud that’s inches deep! Says Mike, "This bathing you can keep!”
"Come home with me and have a drink,” Says Henry, from the mud-pool’s brink. Soon Mike meets Henry’s family, And waits with them to share their tea.
The farmer brings their milk and sees Poor Mike, who’s looking ill at ease. “Stray cat, I’ll wring your neck!” roars he; —So Mike takes refuge up a tree!
