THEFT CHARGE

RUGBY FUNDS DISAPPEAR By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, January 7. On a charge of the theft at Pongaroa of £lO4/6/9, the property of the Puketoi Football Sub-Union, Thomas L. Alexander, alias Avison, a labourer, aged 29, was arrested in Masterton to-day by W. Kane. The accused appeared later before the Court and was remanded to appear at Palmerston North on January 10.
