FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, January 1. Seeking to encourage larger families, the State proposes, after April, to contribute 16/8 per month in support of each third and fourth child, 32/4 for each fifth and remaining child under sixteen years, provided the parents’ income does not exceed £6OO a year. Hitherto the wage limit was £lOO a year and only 16/8 was paid for the fifth and each subsequent child.
