PORT OF TIMARU
LATEST ADVICES The Port was very busy on Friday with four overseas ships and one coastal vessel at the wharves. The M.A.N.Z. steamer City of Glasgow arrived from Lyttelton and after loading wool for London, sailed for Dunedin. The Benarty arrived from Lyttelton in the morning and commenced loading wool for London and the Continent. She should sail to-morrow for Dunedin. The German steamer Naumburg was another arrival from Lyttelton. After completion of her loading wool for the Continent, she is to proceed south to-morrow. The Harbledown completed discharging Australian wheat at Timaru on Friday morning and sailed early in the afternoon for Dunedin. The Gale picked up wool for transhipment at Port Chalmers and proceeded south in the afternoon.
