PLEASANT POINT
ANNUAL GALA OUTSTANDING SUCCESS On Thursday the Pleasant Point gala was held in almost perfect weather. The attendance was very good, and a comprehensive programme was dealt with without a single hitch. The dog trials were especially popular, and a keen interest was taken in the exhibitions given by children with their ponies. The procession was very successful though there were fewer decorated vehicles than on previous occasions. The results of the competitions in the various decorative classes were as follow':
