COMPANY DIVIDENDS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 30. The Stock Exchange has received cabled advice from the British Tobacco Company of a 2 per cent, final dividend and 2 per cent, interim dividend, both payable on December 31. A cable from the Hume Pipe Co. states that the Hume Pipe, Far East, Limited, is paying on December 20 an interim dividend of 10 per cent per annum for the six months ended September 30. The Hume Steel Limited’s net profit for the year ended September 30 was £40,300. After providing for taxation, the directors recommend a preference dividend for the half year of 7J per cent, per annum, payable on December 22.
