FEARS IN FRANCE
ABANDONMENT OF ARMS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received November 25, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, November 25. Fear of being branded Cagoulards, has made the getting rid of arms a popular ocupation throughout France. The police are finding much ammunition, revolvers, and rifles on the riverbanks, In parks, and on the roadsides, which the owners, although not connected with the CagoulardS, consider too hot to hold, as no mercy is likely to be shown possessors of illicit arms. The police, continuing the Cagoulard hunt, questioned General Duselgneur, Chief Secretary of the Air Ministry, and a sympathiser with the Right Party. They arrested all found on the premises of Eugene de Lecle's flat. Others arrested Include an air force pilot and a former navy captain. Cagoulard plans were found in the flat of Eugene de Lecle, director and consulting engineer of the Penhoet Dockyards Company, builders of the Normandie, who is at present visiting Italy De Lecle’s brother Henri has been arrested at Nice.
