ACTIVITIES OF MADAME FONTANGE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received November 25, 8.45 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 24. The Federal Judge admitted Madame Fontange under a bond of 1000 dollars pending the hearing by the Court of Appeal against the ruling by which she was excluded from United States. ■ Madame Fontange was ordered not to appear as an actress or as a public performer. She must also refrain from attempting to profit by her alleged love affair with Signor Mussolini. An ironical development is the closing down of a night club which brought Madame Fontange from France, owing to the more sl'togent application of the civic regulations. A large contingent of journalists and photographers descended on her when It was learned that she was c ling to appear at a night club. Madame de Fontange, a former actress and journalist, shot the Comte de C’-.ambrun, formei French Ambassador to Roma, on the platform of the Gare Nu Nord, in Paris, in March. At her trial on charges of nondeclaration of the possession of firearms she was sentenced to one year’s Imprisonment, but the sentence was suspended under the First Offenders’ Act. She was also fined 100 francs.
