ATLANTIC RATES INCREASED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 18. Freights between the United Kingdom and eastern Canadian and United States ports are being increased by 10 per cent., from January 1. Freights are also being Increased for the North Pacific ports. The Shipping Journal, “Fairplay” expects Plate chartering to be resumed on a large scale within the next few months.
