THE CHURCHES

TO-MORROW’S SERVICES The services at the Baptist Church will be conducted by the Rev. J. A. Clifford, of Karori, Wellington. Communion at close of the evening service. Young People’s Day will be observed in the Congregational Church, North Street. Missionary services will be conducted in the Woodlands Street Church by the Rev. C. Blaii in the morning and the Rev. Belshazzar Gina in the evening. The services in St. John’s parish are advertised in this issue. The Rev. .ielshfzar Gina, the son of a Solomon Island headhunter, speaks in Banks Street at the morning church service, and also at meetings in Wc Jey Hall on Tuesday at 2.30 p.m. and 7.30 .>.m. The special anniversary services at Chalmers Church will be conducted by the Rev. Llywelyn Williams. The preacher at St. Paul’s, Hlghfleld, will be the Rev. J. Baird. The soloist at the evening service will be Mrs Hebditch. “Doctrine of Atonement" is the subject of the lesson -sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist. The golden text is “God is faithful, by whom were ye called into the fellowship of his son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians, 1:9). Anniversary services will be held to-morrow at Trinity Presbyterian Church, the preacher being the Rev. W. Marsh, of Oamaru.
