PANTRY EVENING
Miss Jean Munro whose marriage takes place this month, was the guest of honour at a most enjoyable pantry party given by Mr and Mrs P. A. Coote, Pareora. Miss Munro received many useful gifts for her pantry. The evening was spent in games, music and competitions. Mrs R. Depree sang several songs and competition winners were Misses Betty Pratt, Bobbie Munro and Trixie Skudder. Messrs R. Koens and R. Coup. Mr P. A. Coote in asking Miss Munro to accept the gifts, wished her on behalf of all present a very happy future. Those present were Mr and Mrs P. A. Coote, Mr and Mrs R. Munro, Mr and Mrs R. Depree, Mr and Mrs C. Beck, Mr and Mrs Robt. Patterson, Mr and Mrs W. Westoby, Mr and Mrs H. Bannerman, Mr and Mrs R. Davison, Mrs A. Pratt. Misses Jean Munro, Jessie Munro, Bobbie Munro, Mina Coote, Allison Coote, Lorna Coote, Joan Pratt, Betty Pratt, Ora Munro, Hannah Skudder, Trixie Skudder, Mary Longman. Messrs H. Depree, R. Depree, C. Morris, R. Coup, R. Darling, G. Guthrie, A. Thompson, R. Koens, V. Koens, W. Pratt.
