HONOURS CONFERRED 4 By Telegranh —Pres? Association WANGANUI, October 5. His Majesty the King, the Sovereign Head of the Order of St. John, on the recommendation of the Grand Prior, the Duke of Connaught, has conferred the following honours:— Viscountess Galway, to be Dame of Grace of the Order. John Brine, Wanganui, to be promoted from Officer to Commander. Hope Gibbons, Wanganui, to be admitted as Commander of the Order. Dr A. J. Crawford (Wanganui), and William Bourne (Wanganui), to be Serving Brothers. His Excellency will hold the investiture shortly.
