ADMIRAL DICKENS DEAD

GRANDSON OF GREAT NOVELIST United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 7. The death is announced of Admiral Charles Dickens. Admiral Dickens, a grandson of Charles Dickens, the great novelist, was born in October, 1879, and educated at Beaumont College, Windsor, and in the naval training ship Britannia. Hte father ws Sir Henry Dickens, the Old Bailey Judge. Admiral Dickens bore a striking resemblance to his famous grandfather's portraits taken before the novelist grew a beard. He also showed the same taste for story-writing in his early days, and later for amateur theatricals, which he encouraged in all the ships he commanded.
