STRUCK BY CAR
CHILD KILED INSTANTLY By Telegraph—Press Association MARTON, September 9. Barry Lloyd, aged 31, son of Mr and Mrs E. M. Lloyd, Tutaenul Road, Marton, was killed Instantly late this afternoon when he was : tru.:k near his home by a car driven by Mrs Essen, of Christchurch and owned by Mr C. H. M. Hawk, of Marton. It appears that the child ran suddenly from a maid across the road in front of the car.
