SAVED CHILDREN’S LIVES By Telegraph—Press Association ROTORUA, September 9. Three Maori children, Wi Hunu (6), Make Klngl (6) and Tuku Hunu (6) were rescued from dro’ ming this morning by an older companion, Petl Hunu aged 13, when a small boat in which they were crossing Lake Rotolti on the way to school suddenly sank. Showing the greatest tenacity and resource, Peti kept the three younger children, who were all unable to swim, afloat until two canoes were paddled to their assistance. The boat was well out in the lake and In very deep water when the accident occurred. None of the four was much the worse for their experience, although all were suffering from shock.
