WAIMATE COUNTY COUNCIL THE DOWNLANDS (LOWER PAREORA) WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT pUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Waimate County Council held on the 30th day of August, 1937, the said Council in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Section 6 of “The Water Supply Act. 1908,” resolves and declares by way of Special Order to constitute the Lower Pareora Riding of the Waimate County a Special District, as from the 27th day of September, 1937, for the purpose of the construction of water races therein. The name of the proposed District to be “The Downlands (Lower Pareora) Water Supply District,” and the plan of the said District and a full description of the boundaries thereof and a copy of the proposed Special Order are deposited at the office of the Waimate County Council, Queen Street, Waimate, and at the Government Railway Station, St. Andrews, and may be inspected without fee from the 3rd day of September, 1937, until Noon of tne 27th day of September, 1937, at which last mentioned date the said Council will adopt a resolution confirming the said Special Order.
