The trial of Dr Niemoller has been definitely postponed, presumably owing to fear of further demonstrations. The Berlin correspondent of “The Daily Telegraph” suggest that the postponement of the trial of Dr. Niemoller is due to the authories’ fear of acquittal. The correspondent recalls that two prominent evangelical pastors have been acquitted on similar charges within five weeks. The official reason for the postponement is that the further evidence available requires examination.”
