No person shall be eligible for election unless he hold at least ten shares; and no person (other than a retiring Shareholders’ Director) shall be eligible for election unless such other person shall have left at the registered office of the Association on or before the 30th day of August, 1937, a notice in writing of his willingness to act as a Shareholders’ Director.
