ST. ANDREWS
CROWN TENANTS’ ASSOCIATION The annual meeting of the St. Andrews branch of the New Zealand Crown Tenants’ Association was held in the Public Hall. The president, Mr L. Fenwick welcomed Mr D. Barnes. M. and Mr W. H. Collins, vicepresident of the Fairlie branch. The annual report read as follows: Thc year shows a decrease of only two in the membership which is now 42. The year commenced with a credit of £3/10/11 and ended with a credit of £3/8/5. The executive meetings at Timaru have been regularly attended. There are now three members of the South Canterbury Executive on the Canterbury Land Boa. d, Messrs 1 J. Gregan and B. J. Moyle appointed by the Government and Mr D. C. Kidd reelected unopposed during the year as Crown Tenants’ representatives. During the year Mr A. S. Ayrey has been appointed to the local Adjustment Commission.
