PLANS FOR DIVORCE
GEORGE BRENT FILES PAPERS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 22, 11.0 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, July 22 George Brent has filed the annulment papers of his marriage with Constance Worth, who it is expected will contest the case. A Hollywood message early this month stated that George Brent announced that he would seek the annulment of his marriage with Constance Worth on May 19, on the ground that the Mexican marriage laws were not observed. It was expected the case would not be contested. Friends said the couple lived together for ten days when they decided, “we were not meant for each other.” Brent is making a picture at San Diego and Miss Worth is living with her mother.
