DAIRY COMPANY’S OPERATIONS By Telegraph —Press Association HAMILTON. July 22. A statement issued to-day shows that the surpluses in the profit and loss accoqnt of the New Zealand Dairy Company for the 1936-37 season amount to £757,337, this including the amounts due to suppliers to butter, cheese, milk powder, casein and evaporated milk factories. The deferred payment of butter would be 1.743 d for August and May inclusive, plus a bonus of id per lb on the June-July supply, thus making the final payment for butter, including cartage, but not trading rebates, 14.0319 d. The average cheese payments would be 15.0348 d. The company has enjoyed a successful season, the output of 51,001 tons of butter being an Increase of 7.8 per cent, over last season, and the cheese output, 8799 tons, an increase of 15.4 per cent.
