FOUND DROWNED

VISITOR TO WELLINGTON By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, July 21. The hypothesis that deceased lost, her way and wandered, or was blown into the harbour, appealed to the Coroner. Mr E. Gilbertson, as the most likely explanation of the death of Isobcl Rosa Fuge, of Kaiwaiwai, Featherston, last Saturday. The evidence showed that deceased was elderly, frail and of light build, and the night was rough and Stormy. She arrived at Wellington, and had to change trains at the new station, where she had never been before, and i. was suggested that she lost her sense of direction, and got on to the wharves. Her husband said deceased never showed any suicidal tendencies. He and his wife had brought up a large family, and had never quarrelled. The verdict was, found drowned, and there was no evidence to show how the body came to be in the water.
