MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB The following were the scores recorded at the weekly shoot of the Orari Bridge Ladles' Miniature Rifle Club: Mrs J. Fifield 77, Miss J. McLean .5, Miss Clarice Rule 72, Mrs F. Pratt 72, Mrs J. Wordsworth 70, Miss Thelma Rule 68, Mrs Waters 66. The following were the scores of members of the Hilton Men’s Rifle Club who shot on the Orari Bridge rifle range for the Burnett Cup: L. Beattie 80. W. Scott 79, R. Meredith 77, R. Brenton 76, A. Johnston 75. PERSONAL Miss Ruby Tate, who has been on a visit to the West Coast, has returned home. Mr and Mrs Jas Smith, “Hillend,” Balclutha, are visiting Mrs Scott, “Langollan,” Orari Bridge. Mr E. Burke who has been transferred from Oamaru to Wellington, spent a short holiday with his mother. Mrs Markham Burke, before taking up his new position. Mrs F. E. South, who has been attending the annual conference of th? Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union at Wellington, has returned home.
