Store Sheep There was a small offering and a good demand. Values were:— Ewe hoggets to 34 - S.M. Romney cross ewes .... to 33,6 Fat Sheep There was another keen sale. Wethers firmed 2/- and ewes 1/6 for best and about half as much for medium. Top price for wethers was 50/4 and for ewes 34,4. Values were:— Extra prime heavy *
Dairy’ Cattle There was an entry of 100 head, comprising very ordinary sorts. There was a dragging sale from the outset and little competition. Best second and third calvers and heifers sold to £lO. Fat Pigs There was a smaller entry and a general advance in prices. Both baconers and porkers improved. Values were:—
