ARMED ROBBERS

CHINESE HELD UP By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 30 Two armed men held up a Chinese laundryman, Louie Kee, at his premises Ghuznee Street, last night, and robbed him. While one held him at bay at the point of a revolver the other ransacked the building for money. In response to knocking, Kee opened the door, and it is stated the men forced their way in, and one, who produced a revolver, demanded money.

The intruders took 6/- from a drawer, and, unable to find any more, they then left, allegedly warning Kee that he would be shot if he attempted to follow.
