FIELD BECOMING SMALLER Tire field in the Knock-Out singles at Highfield has been narrowed considerably with the completion of the third round. Of the club’s low handicap men only G. A. Ussher and E. A. Scott are still “alive” in the competition. Additional results are: W. J. Sullivan beat R. J. Moyes; E. A. Scott beat S. A. Shrimpton; H. L. Kent beat V. T. Nicholas; C. H. Coxhead beat W. J. Foote; G. Fairbrother beat E. D. Mcßae; S. G. McClelland beat W. H. Walton (by default); G. A. Ussher beat N. C. Martin; R. L. Martin beat D. Moyes; W. C. Davies beat H. H. Dobie; E. Lawrence beat J. W. Fair.
