PARKING ON FIRE PLUGS
THE LAW DEFINED By »•««•» Association WELLINGTON, June 29 In a reserved judgment valid throughout New Zealand Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., to-day held that an qffence against the motor regulations with regard to keeping fire plugs clear arises only when the driver or person in charge completes the operation of stopping or parking, and such person is not responsible if an unauthorised person subsequently moves the vehicle into the prohibited area. If the Transport authorities intended otherwise they had failed to express that intention. He dismissed the two charges, being satisfied that some one else moved the cars to make room for themselves or to enable them to drive away.
