HEARING ADJOURNED By Tclcnraph —P~es c Association WELLINGTON, June 25 An offer of 2/3 an hour for general labourers with a 10 per cent, increase on the 1931 rate for men engaged in special work was not accepted by the workers’ assessors when the Dominion builders, contractors and general labourers’ dispute was resumed before Mr 8. Ritchie, Conciliation Commissioner. The workers’ claim was for 2'9 lan hour as a minimum. After a long discussion the proceedings were adjourned until July 14. The questions held over included overtime, holidays, suburban and country work, and the form of award.
