SIR J. M. BARRIE

GREETINGS

Shoult ‘'Hip, Hurray!" on this jolly day, For our Page is ten years old! And the time seems ever so far away When our first Children's Page was sold. The Circlians then who were very small Have “grown up” as the years sped by; Yet our “Leader” never grows up at all, But is quite content to fly. Right into our Page on each Saturday With letters and jokes and rhymes. —Michael the Mascot's adventures gay Have given us happy times. What a blessing our Puss has returned once more From his travels way over the sea. His friends will no longer his absence deplore When they meet for the big birthday tea! So here’s a health to our “Children’s Page” And our gallant “Peter Pan;” May the Circlians gather, of every age, To cheer our happy Clan. (5 Marks and a Merit Card awarded to Joan Mary Thomson, Timaru).
