PROTEST AGAINST COURT INJUNCTION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received June 24, 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 24. A message from Warren says: “The Committee for Industrial Organisation has called a labour holiday as a protest against the injunction issued by the State Court limiting pickets to a dozen men at the two Republic Steel Company’s plants at Warren and Niles (Ohio), and forbidding arming and interference in any manner with the operation of the mills.” Six thousand men and women walked out of seventeen plants. Political Twist A political twist was given to the situation when Senator Earle (Governor of Pennsylvania, who has been frequently mentioned as the Democratic nominee for the Presidency, withdrew from consideration of the nomination in a statement to-day, in which he advocated a third term for President Roosevelt.
