PORT OF TIMARU

LATEST ADVICES The Port Whangarei arrived from the south yesterday and sailed later for Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. The Wingatul arrived from Oamaru yesterday and loaded for Wellington and Auckland, sailing for these ports via Lyttelton. The Gale also was an arrival last night. She is to load to-night and will sail to-day for Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The Westmoreland completed loading and sailed yesterday afternoon for Bluff. NOTES To-day the Wainui should be here from Oamaru to load general cargo for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, via Lyttelton. The Holmdale is expected to arrive to-morrow, when she will load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The Port Waikato is due to-morrow also to pick up cargo for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei. The Karetu is listed for Friday from Dunedin and Oamaru, to discharge Australian cargo and load for Sydney. The Breeze is expected on Saturday, to load for Wellington and tVanganui, via Lyttelton. Melbourne Star Saturday The Melbourne Star is expected to arrive from the Bluff on Saturday and will sail early next week for Wellington.
