By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 18. The directors of New Zealand Breweries. Limited, have decided to recommend at the annual general meeting on June 16 the payment of a dividend for the period ended March 31 of 44 per cent, making 85 per cent for the year. BANK PROFITS The National Bank of Australasia, reports a net profit of £325,638, for the half-year to March 31, the highest since 1930-1. A final dividend at the rate of 6 per cent, is recommended, making 53 per cent, for the year, compared with 5i per cent, for 1935-6.
