THREE-ACT PLAY
“THE GREAT BROXOPP” One of th : most charming comedies by that celebrated playwright, A. A. Milne, “The Great Broxopp,” will be staged at the Theatre Royal on Monday, by the Repertory Section of the South Canterbury Drama League. Careful preparation and enthusiastic interest has in the past, characterised the productions the League has undertake \ and the definite hold that amateur dramatic art has on the public of South Canterbury, should ensure a large interested audience. Milne’s outstanding play will be supported by a strong cast which/ in the hands of Mr Dundas Walker, of Christchurch, should provide entertainment that will mark another step forward in the already creditable record that amateur dramatists have indubitably established l-i South Canterbury, “Broxopp” is the name of the father in the play, and His success has been due to the exploitation of a baby food which he has widely advertised as “Broxopp’s Beans for Babies.” Box plans are now open at Beggs.
