Mr Alfred Michael Nicholas, governing director of Nicholas Proprietary, Limited, who died on February 26, left personal property in Victoria valued at £826,786. Mr Nicholas’s estate was originally worth £1,500,000, but it was reduced in value by his philanthropies and recent settlements upon his children.
