RALLY TO GOVERNMENT SIDE SERIOUS SITUATION IN CATALONIA United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copvrleht (Received May 5, 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, May 5. The Barcelona correspondent of “The Times” reports that all public forces including the civil guard, shock police, carbineros and others rallied to the Government side which it is reported dominates the situation. In the workers’ section of the city all Catalan Government buildings are well defended but the insurrectionaries apparently dominate the approaches. Peace parleys are reported to be proceeding between the anarchist leaders and General Government.
