GOOD COMPETITION; MARKET FIRM United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 17, 10.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 17 At the wool sales to-day 12,508 bales were offered and 11,410 were sold, also 4659 privately. Yorkshire and Japan provided good competition. The market was very firm. Greasy Merino made to 31id.
