DISCUSSION IN UNITED STATES United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 12, 6.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 11. The Assistant Attorney-General (Senator Jackson) told a Senate Committee that unless the judiciary proposals were passed, President Roosevelt's New Deal programme would be lost in a maze of constitutional metaphors. Senator Jackson said the method of increasing the number of Judges had been used throughout history when conditions demanded it.
