ANNUAL ASSEMBLY
CONGREGATIONAL UNION By Telegraph— Press Association WELLINGTON, March 11. The fifty-fourth annual assembly of the Congregational Union of New Zealand opened to-night with a welcome tea at the Terrace Congregational Church, followed by a public meeting at which the chairman elect, the Rev. H. W. Newell, was inducted by the retiring chairman, the Rev. H. Sturge. Addresses of welcome were given at the tea by the Mayor (Mr T. C. A. Hislop) and Bishop Holland.
