SUCCESS OF DANISH SWIMMER United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 6, 6.30 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, March 5. The Danish swimmer, Miss Hveger, broke the world’s 300 metres freestyle record. Her time was 3mln 40.1 sec. Last week Miss Hveger swam 1000 metres free-style in 14min 12 3sec, beating her own world’s record of 14min 35.65ec. She covered the half-mile in llmin 16.1 sec, beating Miss Leanora Knight's record of llmin 36.45ec.
