SCHOLARS ON STRIKE
PARENTS ASSAULT TEACHERS. United Press Association—By Kieotrio Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 4. Fifty parents of school children, on strike on Achill Island, Ireland, assaulted a teacher, and roughly handled two constables. Police reinforcements were necessary oefore the parents were routed. The strike was due to the teacher’s refusal to prepare meala.
